Join a collaborative upstream land team in Calgary as a Land Advisor on a 1-year contract. Contribute your expertise in managing leases, contracts, and Alberta-based assets.
This role is crucial for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with 5–10+ years of land advisory experience. You'll be supported in acquiring surface and subsurface rights while maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are highly valued, making this opportunity optimal for commercially savvy individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acquire surface and subsurface rights for asset development
• Develop and execute commercial agreements, including leases
• Manage all aspects of contracts and compliance
• Support divestment and monetization strategies
• Evaluate land ownership and resolve title defects
Requirements:
• 5–10 years of land advisory experience preferred
• Strong background in contract management
• Knowledge of Alberta-based asset transactions
• Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis
