Portfolio & System Analyst

Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values‑driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Portfolio and Systems Analyst (Contract). In this position, you will play a key role in supporting portfolio systems, project structures, reporting, and access administration to help ensure accurate data, efficient workflows, and effective project controls. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with business systems support, reporting, data reconciliation, and cross‑functional coordination.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical portfolio processes while building expertise in project systems and organizational operations.
- Support daily PIMS Cost updates and assist with basic application tasks such as user help and issue logging.
- Assist with setting up project structures including projects, WBS elements, and control accounts under guidance from Project Controls.
- Assist with D365 export activities by requesting, testing, and validating updated export files.
- Provide PMOC documentation support by reviewing submissions, routing items for review/approval, and monitoring workflow status.
- Support PIMS and O365 user access including account setup, permission updates, and basic troubleshooting.
- Run scheduled and ad hoc reports to assist Portfolio Management and Project Controls reporting needs.
- Assist with audits and reconciliations by gathering system data, checking transactions, and helping with WBS close out activities.
- Support system processes and training including PMOC administration, team training coordination, and UPCI implementation tasks.
- Post‑secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
- 3‑5 years of progressive experience.
- A track record of delivering high‑quality work, managing competing priorities, and supporting key business processes or operational functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and professionally.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
