Director of Business Transformation

Position: Director of Business Transformation - AltaLink
Lead transformational initiatives at Alta Link in Calgary as the Director of Business Transformation. Oversee the transition to new Enterprise Asset Management and ERP systems, ensuring business adoption and operational success.

In this senior leadership role, you will guide a dedicated team through complex business transformation projects, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency. Your expertise will drive the successful implementation of Alta Link’s next-gen systems, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support organizational goals. With a focus on strategic transformation, you will spearhead initiatives that align with regulatory frameworks and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the cross-functional team to define functional business requirements

• Facilitate business decision forums and provide status reports

• Assess business readiness for new EAM and ERP implementations

• Develop and maintain the transformation roadmap and work streams

• Coach team members to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field

• 10-15 years in operations or asset management in energy

• Proven leadership experience with cross-functional transformations

• Expertise in ERP/EAM systems, preferably Maximo or SAP

• Strong communication skills and executive presence
