Grant Consultant

Position: Grant Consultant for City
Shape Calgary's future as a Grant Consultant, focusing on cross-corporate management of grant files. Collaborate with multiple departments while obtaining external funding for impactful community services.

This role at the City of Calgary requires you to lead grant applications, balancing priorities across various services and negotiating with funders. As part of a collaborative team, you will develop processes to enhance performance and data management related to grants. You will also assess the return on investment for grants, guiding future funding priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies for cross-corporate grant applications

• Establish governance for new and existing grant files

• Monitor and manage cross-departmental grant agreements

• Foster relationships with key grant partners

• Analyze and evaluate grant ROI for strategic focus

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field

• Minimum 5 years in project management or grant coordination

• Knowledge of engineering consulting phases

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
