You will assist in identifying and maximizing federal and provincial tax credits and incentives, providing valuable analysis and tracking to support clients' business objectives. Our team focuses on creating proactive and value-added programs to enhance client engagement and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and rules.
Meaningful workyou’llbe part of
Asa SR&ED Manager,you'llwork with a team of professionals to help our clients with the preparation of their tax incentive claims. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate in the completion of SR&ED claims (Canada) and R&D tax credit claims (US)
Complete assignments on time and within budget to meet client expectations
Provide practical solutions tooptimizeclients' returns from SR&ED and other government incentives
Attend meetings and support clients during SR&ED reviews
Managing a portfolio of clients, reporting to Senior Managers and above
Be involved in thefinancial managementof clients
Engage in business development activities toidentifyand research opportunities
Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
Assistin managing and delivering largerprojects
Experiences and skillsyou’lluse to solve
Provenengineer,or technical management includingcompetenciesinmechanical or chemical engineering
A degree or education inanengineeringfieldor related discipline
Prior experience with the SR&ED tax credit program including preparing and supportingheavy industry
SR&ED claimsispreferred but notrequired
Strong client-service orientation focused on achieving high quality,timelyand profitable results
Excellent written and oral communication skills combined with intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving abilities
Creative problem-solving skills to apply the SR&ED rules to client opportunities and the skill and experience needed to lead claim preparation and review engagements

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
