In this role, you will focus on evaluating power market conditions and developing models that support commercial assessments. Your responsibilities will include working closely with trading and business development teams to identify key market drivers and inform deal structuring strategies. You will also enhance analytical frameworks to improve overall data quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop medium-to-long-term power market forecasts
• Build and refine quantitative models using PLEXOS
• Partner with multiple teams to optimize deal economics
• Analyze data to uncover market risks and sensitivities
• Support strategic initiatives through commercial analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant market analysis experience
• Knowledge of power system fundamentals
• Proficient in tools like Python and Excel
• Strong ability to synthesize complex data
