Role Details

  • Work Location – Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg or Regina
  • Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – 40h/week, Monday to Friday, Hybrid (3 days on-site)
  • Base salary range – $70,650.00 - $98,125.00 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
About This Opportunity

The Senior Analyst, Regional Procurement is responsible for executing purchases for the different types of facilities within their respective region, leading regional sourcing events and driving compliance with the company’s procurement policy. The role oversees creating and monitoring purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, managing RFx and negotiating contracts with vendors, and contributes to short‑ and long‑term KPI targets through procurement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for obtaining goods and services for the Company for indirect procurement categories.
  • Create purchase orders in the appropriate systems.
  • Negotiate and manage short and long‑term contracts to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply, ensuring that contracts meet minimum compliance clauses.
  • Work closely with business teams to develop scope of work and/or goods specifications requirements.
  • Source, review and evaluate supplier quotes and seek appropriate approvals for quoted work per the Company policy.
  • Receive purchase requisitions from site buyers and support with contracting process and PO issuance.
  • Communicate with suppliers during the sourcing process and on a regular basis as required.
  • Lead sourcing events (RFX) within the region and initiate categories optimization activities.
  • Compile and analyze spend reports and put together short‑term procurement strategies.
  • Contribute to the Company’s savings targets and other KPI’s as needed.
  • Support invoice issue resolution by coordinating with site buyers, suppliers and accounts payable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a consumer‑packaged goods industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to drive compliance within a rapid‑paced operations environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook etc.).
  • SAP and Ariba knowledge is an asset.
