Support international students as a Host Ambassador with Canada Homestay Network in Calgary. This part-time, hybrid role focuses on qualifying host families for quality care.
In this permanent position, you'll report to the Program Lead and ensure that new and established host families meet the Canada Homestay Network’s standards. Conducting interviews and home visits along with managing necessary documentation will be central to your responsibilities. Your ability to promote the Host program and resolve conflicts will contribute significantly to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Qualify host families through home interviews and visits
• Complete required interviews and documentation accurately
• Promote CHN's Host Program effectively to potential hosts
• Develop relationships within the local community
• Address conflicts and facilitate positive communication
Requirements:
• Sales and interpersonal skills are essential
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with international cultures
• Proficiency in business writing and email communication
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed
