The Opportunity
We are looking for a Vice President of Business Development to lead the firm’s sales and marketing in Western Canada. This is a rare opportunity to grow and build a business across BC and Alberta. Accordingly, the role involves wearing many hats, where the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Sales and marketing of the funds across BC and Alberta, with a focus on the CIRO channel.
- Contributing to the development of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and strategic plans.
- Strengthening and deepening existing relationships with clients and business partners.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment and possess the following attributes and experience:
- 5+ years of experience wholesaling in the CIRO channel.
- Entrepreneurial mind and spirit.
- Strategic, long-term thinker, and problem solver.
- Consistent persistence and creative tenacity.
- Hard-working, humble, and fun.
