Calgary Procurement Specialist - Bids & Proposals

PTW invites you to fuel project success as a Procurement Specialist in Calgary. This role is pivotal in developing bids and sourcing materials for industrial and municipal projects.

At PTW, you'll be instrumental in shaping procurement strategies that influence bid competitiveness and project profitability. Your collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams will ensure efficiency and alignment throughout project execution. With your skills, you'll address procurement challenges, contributing to the overall success across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Influence bid success through strategic procurement plans

• Source equipment pricing while identifying cost drivers early

• Review specifications to define procurement scope and risks

• Secure competitive bids from qualified suppliers

• Maintain accurate procurement records and databases

Requirements:

• 5+ years in procurement or sourcing within construction

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management

• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications

• Excellent organizational and negotiation skills

• Must have reliable transportation for site visits
