Senior Business Analyst Alberta Electric System

Drive efficiency in Alberta's electricity market as a Senior Functional Business Analyst at the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO). Reporting to the Manager of Market Management Systems, you will lead the implementation of a new Market Management System (MMS) essential for streamlining operations across the Alberta Interconnected Electric System.

Your key responsibilities include defining product backlogs, managing stakeholder workshops, and ensuring operational readiness for the MMS.

• Lead stakeholder workshops for business requirement validation
• Define and manage product backlogs with user stories
• Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
• Analyze data to drive KPIs and business insights
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and deliverables

• Degree in Business Administration or related field
• 10+ years in business analysis or related role
• Experience with large-scale system implementations
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
• Solid communication skills for diverse audiences
