Position: Aviation Maintenance Technologist at SAIT

As an Educational Laboratory Technologist III, you will maintain equipment, oversee inventory, and engage with both students and faculty. Your strong technical skills and effective communication will help maintain learning environments that highlight hands-on experience in aviation. Ready to support student orientations and industry shows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper inventory of tools and maintenance equipment

• Process incoming shipments accurately for aviation supplies

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on aircraft and training aids

• Organize hangar and lab spaces for optimal usage

• Facilitate interactions with contractors for building needs

Requirements:

• Experience in aircraft maintenance essential

• AME certification preferred for applicants

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record necessary

• Familiarity with various aircraft is advantageous

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard software applications
