Director Business Transformation

Position: Director Business Transformation for AltaLink
Take charge as Director of Business Transformation at Alta Link, located in Calgary, driving strategic changes across the organization. Your mission: successfully implement new Enterprise Asset Management and ERP systems.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams in defining business requirements and fostering organizational readiness. Partnering with IT and external vendors, you will ensure a smooth transition and adoption of key operational systems. Your strategic insights and governance support will guide executive decisions, aligning transformation efforts with Alta Link’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct cross-functional teams to define business needs

• Manage decision-making forums and escalations effectively

• Ensure business readiness for system launches and transitions

• Lead design of future operating models and processes

• Support the tracking of transformation success metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in business or engineering; MBA is a plus

• 10-15 years in operations or leadership roles

• Experience with transformational change initiatives

• Strong familiarity with EAM/ERP systems like Oracle/SAP

• Proven track record of effective communication and influence
