Become a Lead Props Craftsperson at Alberta Ballet, responsible for building and maintaining essential scenic props. This full-time role requires your creativity and organizational skills.
Reporting to the ATD Carps/Props/Flys, you will handle all aspects of prop creation for our productions. Your duties include managing budgets, tracking expenses, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Close collaboration with staff and meticulous attention to detail will drive the success of our touring performances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build props as required for productions
• Track department budgets and handle purchasing
• Organize both digital and physical prop files
• Ensure proper inventory management at the warehouse
• Assist with logistics for prop installation during tours
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years in prop fabrication experience
• Leadership qualities with a positive demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and current IATSE membership
• Strong understanding of props design processes
• Familiarity with Office
365 tools is necessary
