Key Account Leader – Calgary, Alberta
Mott Mac Donald is looking for a Key Account Leader to lead client engagement and business development for our transportation and municipal infrastructure services in Alberta.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Promote Mott Mac Donald initiatives and drive cooperative engagement across the business.
- Drive business development through identification of, and positioning for, recent opportunities to maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Lead bid processes and support project delivery teams, ensuring technical and commercial robustness.
- Fill senior project execution and delivery roles within assignments aligned to your technical specialization.
- Oversee commercial performance, risk management, and quality outcomes for client projects.
- Exemplify leadership by upholding Mott Mac Donald’s ethical standards, ensuring zero tolerance for unacceptable behaviors and managing conflicts of interest.
- Represent Mott Mac Donald at networking opportunities, speak at events and participate at industry functions.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience delivering transportation, municipal infrastructure, or advisory projects, including at least 5 years with the City of Calgary or Government of Alberta.
- Strong technical background aligned with Mott Mac Donald’s growth markets and submarkets in Alberta (Transport – Highways, Rail, Urban Mobility; Water – Wastewater, Water Supply) and practice areas such as Bridge Engineering, Advisory Services, or Transport Planning.
- Demonstrated business development and client relationship management experience.
- Desire to collaborate with multiple agencies to develop projects.
- Deep knowledge of and reputation within the Alberta engineering consultancy market.
- Excellent written and oral communication and leadership skills.
- Salary range: $160,000 – $200,000 per year.
- Performance-based personal and group bonuses.
- Hybrid work model with a minimum of three office days per week.
