Senior Business Manager – Corporate Services DivisionThis role is responsible for the commercial and financial stewardship of routine maintenance, turnaround services, and construction contracts within the Services Division. The incumbent will ensure contract compliance, support operational execution, drive margin improvement, and provide business performance reporting, contract governance, billing oversight, and bid support.
Responsibilities- Administer and manage customer contracts, ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Lead commercial contract execution, including change management, risk mitigation, opportunity identification, and margin enhancement.
- Monitor and manage contract financial performance – revenue, costs, margins, forecasting, variance analysis, and billing accuracy.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Finance, Project Controls, Supply Chain, HR, Labour Relations, and Commercial teams.
- Support project planning and bidding activities – bill rate development, pricing strategies, cost estimates, risk assessments, and alignment with operational plans.
- Drive business performance and client success through performance reviews, strong customer relationships, audit support, and insights to leadership.
- Education:
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. - Experience:
7+ years in project management or project controls in heavy industrial environments (refinery, chemical plant, power plant, or similar); experience in maintenance management within industrial facilities is an asset. - Skills:
Project cost control experience; AACEI accreditation is an asset.
