Our client is seeking a SCM Specialist III
- Power Projects & Operations to join their team. As a SCM Specialist III
- Power Projects & Operations, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting Power Projects & Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
- Lead supply chain management activities related to project transition into operations, ensuring warranty terms and documentation are properly transferred.
- Act as the primary interface for warranty matters between projects, operations, OEMs, EPCs, and suppliers.
- Coordinate and manage OEM and EPC warranty claims, tracking and maintaining documentation, and providing comprehensive reporting.
- Interpret and administer contracts to enforce warranty provisions and negotiate warranty-related disputes and settlements.
- Support asset reliability and provide subject matter expertise on warranty issues, assisting procurement and internal teams during project transition and operational phases.
- Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- 7+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in vendor management, supplier relationship management, or warranty management.
- Experience reviewing, negotiating, and executing supply contracts.
- Renewables industry experience (5+ years preferred).
- Ability to complete background checks including criminal, education, and employment verification.
