Route Development Analyst

Position: WestJet Route Development Analyst Role
Join West Jet as a Junior Analyst in Route Development, focusing on enhancing scheduling and operational strategies in a collaborative environment up to five days a week.

This role is essential for creating capacity plans that support West Jet's flight schedules and operational excellence. You will perform market analyses and work on strategic projects that influence service to hundreds of destinations. Engage with various teams to build and refine flight schedules that maximize resource efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop short- and long-term capacity plans

• Analyze potential new destinations and routes

• Manage and optimize current flight schedules

• Collaborate with teams for schedule change management

• Create executive-ready presentations and reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or similar

• Experience as an analyst from new graduates to experienced candidates

• Proficient in data manipulation and reporting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in teams
