This position demands your expertise in Health and Safety, working with multidisciplinary project teams on issues like hazard assessments and emergency planning. You will develop training programs and enhance the safety culture within the organization through effective collaboration and support on multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support water quality evaluations and infrastructure projects
• Influence strong safety practices and employee engagement
• Conduct field inspections to enhance safety compliance
• Coach leaders on hazard assessments and safety protocols
• Identify emerging trends to develop proactive safety solutions
Requirements:
• 5+ years in a health and safety role with field experience
• Relevant degree or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
• Familiarity with OHS legislation in Canada
• Preferred Canadian Registered Safety Technician designation
• Travel within Canada approximately 20-25%
