Summary of Role &

Key Responsibilities

We are an innovative leader in corporate sustainability reporting, helping companies navigate the evolving reporting landscape and stakeholder needs. We produce top-tier sustainability reports and related disclosures aligned with external standards and regulations, advise on strategies to enhance disclosures and optimize ESG ratings, and create communications to credibly share our clients' stories and performance with diverse stakeholders.

Senior Consultant level practitioners should be able to effectively support client projects involving strategy and planning, content development and drafting, design, and review and socialization phases of their sustainability reports and related disclosures. This role is a key member of our project delivery teams that help clients navigate the complex and evolving reporting landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management and Delivery – As a Senior Consultant in our ESG Reporting & Disclosure Service Line, you will be expected to:
o Support the delivery of reporting strategy and report development projects, working closely with senior team members to meet client objectives.
o Develop content – including writing and editing reports, disclosures, and other related materials.
o Support gap assessments, benchmarking exercises, reporting strategy projects, and disclosure reviews to help clients improve sustainability performance and reporting outcomes.
o Deliver assigned tasks on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality, to ensure that projects meet or exceed targets and deadlines.
o Work on several projects at any one time – each with their own project team – and help manage timelines, work streams, and budgets while proactively identifying and mitigating risks to project success.
  • Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure Advisory – To support the development of client deliverables and advisory services, you will:
o Convey an understanding of voluntary and mandatory disclosure strategies, various reporting frameworks, raters, regulatory requirements, and reporting best practices.
o Support reporting strategy project deliverables including rater and framework gap analysis, benchmarking, and reporting trends analysis.
o Support clients in gathering data and information and translating key sustainability messages into mediums for different target audiences (e.g., investor reporting frameworks, ESG rater and ranker platforms, regulators, customer surveys, employees, etc.).
o Help translate sustainability programs and performance into clear, audience-appropriate messaging for investors, regulators, customers, employees, and other stakeholders.
o Integrate and utilize ESG data management tools and software solutions.
  • Business and Service Development – In collaboration with a senior client manager and the Service Line Lead, you will:
o Contribute to proposals, client presentations and other business development activities.
o Support scope expansions and new opportunities with existing clients by identifying client needs and helping develop solutions.
o Contribute ideas, research, and market insights to support the evolution of Anthesis' sustainability reporting and disclosure services.
