Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help deliver enterprise technology initiatives focused on business process improvement, application modernization, and AI-enabled solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers, you'll translate business needs into clear requirements and help deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and business value.

This role requires 4 days in office, downtown Calgary. 6 months to start with strong possibility of extension

Must Have

• 10+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and process requirements.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria within Agile delivery environments.
• Experience facilitating workshops and partnering with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting application modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise software delivery initiatives.
• Experience evaluating business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Experience working in Oil & Gas, Utilities, or another highly regulated industry.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on AI-enabled or AI-assisted technology initiatives.
• Experience supporting low-code/no-code or automation projects.
• Experience with operational dashboards, data consolidation, or "single pane of glass" initiatives.
• Experience helping establish or mature Business Analysis practices.
• Understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles.

• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution requirements.
• Partner with business stakeholders, developers, product teams, and data owners throughout delivery.
• Support backlog refinement, testing, release readiness, and iterative solution delivery.
• Assess business value, effort, and complexity to support prioritization.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Contribute to Business Analysis standards, tools, and best practices within a modern delivery environment.
