In this role within the Rates Division, you will assist in analyzing utility applications and providing recommendations to the Commission. Collaborate with a diverse team to create technical documentation and handle complex proceedings effectively. This position emphasizes your research skills and commitment to enhancing the efficiency of Alberta’s electricity and natural gas regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze utility applications comprehensively
• Develop written interrogatories and issues lists
• Coordinate decision report drafts with regulatory teams
• Provide support on energy-related issues and practices
• Participate in promoting efficient utility regulation initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like economics or engineering
• Regulatory or utility experience of at least two years preferred
• Possession of professional designation an asset
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills
• Ability to thrive in both autonomous and collaborative settings
