Join TC Energy as a Gas Market Analyst, focusing on natural gas analysis within North America's electric power sector. Utilize forecasting methodologies to support strategic initiatives in energy management.
In this role under the Strategy & Business Planning team, you will analyze gas consumption and fuel requirements supporting commercial decision-making. Reporting to the Manager, Gas Market Analysis, you will deliver insights to optimize asset performance and influence TC Gas Outlook in collaboration with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate power generation fuel requirements
• Analyze trends and conduct market risk assessments
• Maintain pricing and demand forecasts for natural gas
• Produce dashboards and management reports
• Identify process improvements for analytical efficiency
Requirements:
• Degree in Economics, Finance, or Energy Management
• 10+ years of relevant experience in energy analytics
• Excellent quantitative and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with statistical tools for market analyses
• Proven communication skills for presenting recommendations
