Description

Inspirational, innovative, and entrepreneurial - this is how we describe our empowered teams. Combine your passion with purpose and join a culture that is thriving in the face of change.

Make an impact with our Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure consulting team as a Manager. This role is ideal for an experienced consulting or industry professional who can lead client-facing engagements, manage multidisciplinary teams, build trusted relationships, and deliver practical, actionable recommendations for energy, utility, infrastructure, and public-sector clients.

Our work supports asset-intensive organizations facing complex challenges, including aging infrastructure, capital program pressures, operational reliability, the energy transition, regulatory expectations, cost control, supply chain performance, workforce capacity, and the need to improve how projects and services are planned, delivered, governed, and sustained.

As a Manager, you will lead engagements that may include asset management, capital project delivery, PMO transformation, utility operations improvement, supply chain and procurement optimization, regulatory and cost allocation support, governance, digital enablement, and broader transformation initiatives. You will combine sector knowledge, consulting discipline, project management, and practical implementation thinking.

MNP is proudly Canadian. Providing business strategies and solutions, we are a leading national accounting, tax and business advisory firm in Canada. Entrepreneurial to our core, our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are successfully transforming mid-market business practices.

  • Lead or support supply chain, procurement, inventory, warehousing, materials management, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and operational improvement engagements.
  • Support regulatory, cost allocation, governance, service delivery, and performance measurement engagements for utility and infrastructure clients.
  • Design and facilitate interviews, working sessions, workshops, executive readouts, and decision meetings.
  • Translate complex operational, technical, financial, and stakeholder information into clear findings, options, actionable recommendations, and practical implementation roadmaps.
  • Review the work of consultants, senior consultants, analysts, and subject matter contributors, and provide effective coaching and feedback.
  • Develop high-quality reports, executive presentations, business cases, roadmaps, governance materials, benefits registers, decision logs, and implementation plans.
  • Contribute to proposals, client relationship development, credentials materials, market scans, and pursuit strategies.
  • Build trusted relationships with client sponsors, project managers, operational leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Help strengthen the Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure practice through thought leadership, methodology development, knowledge management, and team development.

Required Skills and Experience
