The Oil Sands Royalty Analyst is a member ofthe Oil Sands Royalty Group, completing the OSR royalty reporting for the OSR projects located within our extensive mining, thermal, Exploration and Production (E&P) oil sands asset base. You will have the unique opportunity to work with various operations and finance teams at Canadian Natural, while also broadening your oil sands industry knowledge.

Key Accountabilities:- Analyze and prepare monthly OSR project royalty reports
- Analyze and prepare annual OSR project End-of-Period Statements
- Coordinate and prepare responses for OSR royalty audits
- Prepare OSR royalty forecasts
- Coordinate and prepare applications for new OSR projects and for expansions to currently approved OSR projects
- Assist in the completion of special projects
- Related University Degree and Accounting Designation
- Familiarity with and understanding of:
- Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Enterprise One or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software
- Attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Experience in the oil and gas industry and familiarity with the Alberta Energy Oil Sands Royalty Regulations considered an asset
