Business Analyst

Raise is currently hiring a two (2) Business Analysts on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client,is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico
Note:
The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
The Business Analyst in this role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring business needs are clearly understood, prioritized, and translated into solutions that deliver measurable business value. The Business Analyst is accountable for identifying opportunities, improving business processes, defining requirements, and supporting successful project delivery and benefit realization.
Responsibilities- Business Engagement & Planning
- Establish trusted relationships with business stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops to elicit business needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Support strategic planning, demand intake, and initiative prioritization.
- Develop business cases and value realization frameworks.
- Business Analysis
- Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Conduct gap analysis, risk assessments, and feasibility assessments.
- Define business requirements, success criteria, and key performance indicators.
- Solution Development
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business objectives are understood.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and functional requirements.
- Validate proposed solutions against business expectations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Project Delivery
- Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support change management, training, and business readiness activities.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business goals and expected outcomes.
- Assist with post-implementation reviews and benefits realization.
- 5+ years of business analysis experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
