Child Care Educator at YMCA

Become a Child Care Educator at YMCA Calgary, where you’ll support children’s growth and development in a caring environment. This Full-Time position requires dedication and flexibility.

Positioned at the Remington YMCA in Quarry Park, this role calls for Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification at Level 1, 2, or 3. You will engage children aged 12 months to 6 years, implementing developmentally appropriate strategies and ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times. Collaboration with colleagues and community events will enhance your experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diverse programs reflecting the center's curriculum

• Collaborate on center operations to meet environmental needs

• Engage with children and attend to personal care

• Uphold health and safety practices as per YMCA guidelines

• Participate in association and facility events

Requirements:

• Level 1, 2, or 3 Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification

• Relevant experience in licensed childcare settings

• Positive teamwork and communication skills

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification

• Clear Police Information Check required
