Help Build Something Meaningful
We are looking for an exceptional leader to help grow a developing After School Program serving children from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6.

We are looking for someone who believes the best leaders do not lead from behind a desk, they lead by example. Someone who loves spending time with children, jumps into activities, builds meaningful relationships, and inspires staff through their actions every day.

If you are passionate about creating a program where children feel safe, valued, included, and excited to play and be creative we would like to meet you.

What You Will Do
As the Program Supervisor, you will:

Lead the daily operation of a licensed After School Program.

Build a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.

Create engaging, play-based, creative and outdoor programming for children from Pre-K to Grade 6.

Be actively involved with children every day—playing, creating, exploring, and building meaningful relationships.

Mentor, coach, and support a team of Early Childhood Educators and Program Assistants.

Establish routines and best practices as the program grows.

Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations.

Build positive relationships with families, school staff, and the community.

The Kind of Leader We Are Looking For
You are someone who:

Loves working with children and believes relationships are the foundation of quality childcare.

Enjoys getting down on the floor to build with loose parts, play games, read stories, create art, and be part of children's daily experiences.

Leads by example and inspires others through kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

Is organized, dependable, and confident in leading a team.

Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys helping others succeed.

Is flexible, positive, and excited about helping build a new program from the ground up.

Values diversity, inclusion, and creating a sense of belonging for every child.

Qualifications

Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 2 or Level 3 Certification (Level 3 preferred)

Minimum three years of experience in a licensed childcare or school-age program

Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C

Current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

Strong knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations

What We Offer

Opportunities for leadership growth

Why Join Us?
We are building more than a childcare program, we are creating a community where children thrive, families feel supported, and educators love coming to work.

If you are a leader who believes in building relationships, inspiring others, and making every day meaningful for children, we would love to hear from you.
