What will you be doing?
As a  Educational Assistant , you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.

Responsibilities include:

Helping children with various degrees of need in the learning environment.
Planning and implementing programming based on the need of the child supported by a certificated teacher.
Effectively communicating and building a relationship with children and families.
Ability to collaborate with a team.
Ability to write an IPP, tracking and planning forms as well as parent communication are required.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements     1-3 years of experience working in the childcare field or in a position with children who have diverse learning or developmental delays
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Access to a reliable vehicle and a driver's license
Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
