Job Details: 30 to 40 hours per week, Permanent employment, full time.

We are seeking an Early Childhood Assistant to support early childhood educators in fostering the developmental growth of children.

• Assess children’s development to prepare a tailored learning plan.
• Assist early childhood educators in delivering programs that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Lead activities with stories, songs, and local field trips.
• Assist with record keeping and preparation of observations for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
• Engage children in activities including storytelling, songs, and crafts.
• Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• Observe for potential learning or behavioural problems and report findings.
• Attend staff meetings to discuss child progress and challenges.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children.

• Education:
  
  College, CEGEP, or non‑university certificate or diploma (1–2 years).
• Experience:
  
  2 to less than 3 years in early childhood settings.
• Education & Licensing:
  Child Development Assistant (ECE Level
  1), First Aid Certificate (preferred).
• Personal qualities:
  Flexibility, Reliability, Team player.
• Other:
  Willingness to relocate if needed; relocation costs covered by employer.
• Language:
  English (requirement).
