Micro Habitat is looking for a talented freelance event photographer based in Calgary to capture the essence of our vibrant outdoor urban farming events.

Location: Calgary
Duration: 1-hour outdoor event
Deliverables: Minimum of 15 high-quality edited photos
Timing: Flexible – based on event scheduling
Opportunity: Potential for recurring contracts during the next urban farming season

You'll be tasked with visually documenting one of our community-focused urban farming events. Your images will showcase the interactions, engagement, and natural vibrancy of our projects, helping tell the story of how green spaces are transforming urban environments.

• Experience with outdoor event or lifestyle photography
• Ability to capture candid, natural moments outdoors
• Reliable and punctual, with a quick turnaround time (3–5 days)
• Familiarity with natural light shooting conditions
• Bonus:
  An interest in sustainability, food systems, or urban spaces
