Join the Writer/Journalist Program at The Borgen Project, an international organization working at the political level to improve living conditions for people affected by war, famine, and poverty.
The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nations should drive action to end global poverty. With 20 years of experience, we have supported bills that benefited close to 500 million people in developing countries.
We are seeking passionate individuals to create content for BORGEN Magazine and The Borgen Project Blog. This is a part‑time program (12 hours per week) lasting 12 weeks, unpaid and remote. Participants may complete the program in fewer weeks if their availability is limited.
Responsibilities
Article writing.
Researching topics.
Assisting with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts.
Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Experience
No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for people passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs.
Details
This is an unpaid program, although college credit is available.
Start Date
New programs begin every month; choose the month you wish to start.
