RedPoint Media is in search of an Editor to enhance The Scene, Calgary’s dynamic guide to local arts and culture. In this pivotal role, you will oversee editorial quality, manage creative teams, and drive content growth across platforms. Regular in-person collaboration and attendance at events are essential in this hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure editorial quality across print and digital channels

• Lead the creative team and oversee freelance contributions

• Develop strategies to expand readership and community reach

• Manage editorial and art budgets effectively

• Complete all editorial tasks on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Degree in journalism or communications with three years' experience

• Proven ability in writing, assigning, and editing content

• Experience with project management and team leadership

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Passion for Calgary's arts and culture
