• Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging content for various platforms including social media, websites, advertisements, and presentations.
• Trim footage, add transitions, sound effects, music, graphics, subtitles, and visual effects as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing, creative, and production teams to understand project goals and content requirements.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity, messaging, and quality standards.
• Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines and production schedules.
• Organize and maintain video files, footage libraries and project assets.
• Review and revise edits based on feedback from clients or internal teams.
• Optimize video formats and resolutions for different platforms such as You Tube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In and websites.
• Stay updated on video editing trends, techniques and emerging technologies.
• Assist with basic filming, lighting, or audio recording when required.

• A bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Graphic Design, English or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

• Experience assisting with educational and recreational activities.
• Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
• Basic graphic design and animation skills.
• Knowledge of camera equipment and video production processes.
