This position within the Cougars Athletics and Recreation department requires 12-18 months of relevant experience and a passion for sports. As the central figure in the broadcast booth, you will manage equipment setup and ensure the production meets high-quality standards. Your expertise in live broadcasting or film and strong troubleshooting skills will be essential in this dynamic, fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee live broadcast production during Cougars home games

• Set up broadcast equipment and conduct sound checks

• Direct camera personnel to ensure production quality

• Address any live issues or equipment problems

• Manage post-game equipment storage and inventory

Requirements:

• 12-18 months of related experience

• Enrolled MRU student in broadcasting or journalism preferred

• Strong understanding of various sports

• Exceptional time management and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
