As part of Global Calgary's News Department, this full-time Digital Journalist position involves working various shifts, including weekends. You'll be responsible for producing and editing stories while ensuring tight deadlines are met for high-quality newscasts. Your creativity and ability to collaborate across teams will help shape relevant news content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and edit news content for newscasts

• Create original stories and dynamic visuals

• Report live and produce video stories from the field

• Coordinate with multiple news desks and resources

• Participate actively in assignment meetings

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in journalism

• At least two years of relevant production/editing experience

• Minimum one year of reporting experience

• Familiarity with Canadian Press Style

• Organized and quick decision-maker
