Corus Entertainment seeks innovative individuals to fill two part-time News Producer roles in its News Department. Your main tasks will include overseeing news content production for live and recorded formats. You will engage with various shifts, creating segments that leverage both local and national sources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and oversee content for live and server-based broadcasts
• Create a dynamic daily show lineup focusing on impact
• Develop local news segments using diverse video sources
• Execute seamless newscasts from control rooms
• Conduct related duties as required
Requirements:
• Journalism or broadcasting diploma/certificate
• Minimum three years of news production experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Experience in live control room settings
