About Agra Films Agra Films is a growing film and video production company based in Chestermere, Alberta, creating high-quality visual content for businesses, events, brands, social media, and creative projects. We are looking for a talented and motivated Photographer / Videographer / Content Creator who is passionate about storytelling and can help us create professional, engaging video and photography content. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being behind the camera, working with clients, travelling to different shooting locations, and turning raw footage into compelling finished content.

What

You’ll Do
  • Shoot high-quality video and photography for client projects, events, promotional campaigns, interviews, and social media.
  • Create engaging Instagram Reels, Tik Toks, You Tube Shorts, and other short-form content.
  • Support longer-form video and film production projects as required.
  • Edit video content from raw footage through final delivery.
  • Select music, transitions, graphics, captions, and visual effects appropriate for each project.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other production equipment.
  • Assist with creative concepts, shot lists, storyboarding, and content planning.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes and promotional content during shoots.
  • Work directly with clients and the Agra Films team to understand creative objectives.
  • Ensure finished work is consistent with client branding and Agra Films' quality standards.
  • Organize footage, photographs, project files, and digital assets.
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Stay current with social media trends, filmmaking techniques, editing styles, and emerging content formats.
  • Travel to client locations, events, and other filming locations throughout Chestermere, Calgary, and surrounding areas.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in videography, photography, video editing, or digital content creation.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating previous video and/or photography work.
  • Experience creating short-form content such as Reels, Tik Toks, and You Tube Shorts.
  • Good understanding of:
    Composition Lighting Camera operation Audio recording Visual storytelling Social-media-oriented video production
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing software such as:
    Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe After Effects Adobe Lightroom Adobe Photoshop DaVinci Resolve Cap Cut or similar tools
  • Ability to work independently during shoots while also collaborating effectively with a production team.
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable interacting directly with clients.
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-moving production environment.
Transportation Requirement

Because many Agra Films projects are completed at client locations: A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required. Candidates must be comfortable driving to filming locations throughout Chestermere, Calgary, and surrounding communities as required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3+ years of photography or videography experience.
  • Experience filming corporate videos, events, weddings, promotional videos, interviews, or social media campaigns.
  • Experience with cinematic camera systems, gimbals, lighting, and wireless audio.
  • Motion graphics or animation experience.
  • Drone photography/videography experience and appropriate Transport Canada certification.
  • Understanding of social media marketing and platform-specific content.
  • Ability to independently manage smaller shoots from concept through final edit.
  • Equipment:
    Experience operating professional or prosumer camera equipment is important. Please indicate in your application whether you currently own or have access to any cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, gimbals,…
