As a Senior Oil Sands Royalty Analyst, you will be part of the Royalty Accounting team for a prominent player in oil and gas. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include coordinating audit efforts and ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong experience in royalty processes and accounting is essential while leveraging your extensive analytical abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support execution of royalty audit requests and reporting
• Interpret and apply industry regulations for audits
• Prepare and review timely audit responses
• Analyze audit findings for trends and improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for audit effectiveness
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of Oil Sands Royalty Regulation
• CPA designation is an asset
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
