Position: Associate Director, Corporate Finance at BMO

This role within Canadian Commercial Banking involves managing high-value commercial loans and supporting credit requirements. The Associate Director will apply advanced financial analysis, credit analysis, and relationship management to contribute to client decisioning and portfolio oversight. A close partnership with the Managing Director/Director is essential for business development and ensuring excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate loan structures and terms that align with client needs

• Assess client repayment capacity and recommend loan structures

• Monitor portfolio performance and identify risks or opportunities

• Lead proposal development and business presentations

• Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term success

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant credit or lending experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting

• In-depth knowledge of financial operations and risk assessment

• Strong proficiency in loan structuring and regulatory compliance

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
