Job Opportunity
We are seeking a self‑motivated and well‑organized relationship‑manager to support an existing portfolio of tech clients in both the Calgary region and across Central & Western Canada. Your primary role will be to serve as the key contact for the bank with a diverse group of clients, bringing the best of RBC and RBCx to their doorstep.
This role requires working four days in the office and one day remotely.
What will you do?- Manage, retain and deepen relationships with a portfolio of primarily boot‑strapped tech clients through an exceptional client experience (CX).
- Become a trusted advisor, partnering with clients to support their growth.
- Leverage RBC tools and client understanding to provide financial solutions, strategic advice and introductions to relevant parties.
- Apply continuous‑improvement practices to client experience.
- Lead KYC and AML processes, and meet portfolio quality metrics while complying with internal policies.
- Passion for the tech sector to play a role in Canada’s innovation economy.
- Excitement for constant innovation and rapid product development.
- Comfortable handling of the unknown and rapid change, while maintaining priorities.
- At least two years of service or sales experience with strong communication and relationship‑management skills.
- Entrepreneurial experience or work with early‑stage tech startups.
- Understanding of the Canadian tech ecosystem and growth challenges.
- Post‑secondary diploma/degree in commerce, business administration or sciences, and/or related experience.
- Three or more years in commercial lending, business banking, client relationship or client service roles.
