- Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment with a current requirement of two in‑office days per week, increasing to three days per week in September 2026 (subject to change)
- This role can be performed from EDC's headquarters in Ottawa or from our Community Hubs located in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver or Halifax
- Relocation assistance is available for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria

EDC's Corporate Lending Team provides financing solutions in support of Canadian exports and foreign investments to:
- Canadian exporters and their foreign customers
- Canadian investors and their foreign affiliates
We seek financing professionals with experience in corporate loan credit analysis, projection building, structuring, documentation, and portfolio management. The successful candidate will partner closely with Business Development, Legal Services, Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility, and external banking partners to understand customer needs, structure solutions, assess credit risk, and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Responsibilities include managing risks for a loan portfolio in a specific sector, such as aerospace.
DisciplineSummary
- Main focus is refining financing and portfolio management expertise, developing customer skills, increasing engagement across EDC, and leading Corporate Lending initiatives
- Work in collaboration with business customers, foreign buyers, financial institutions and internal stakeholders to underwrite, structure, and negotiate lending solutions
- Structure and deliver financing solutions (direct loans, syndicated loan participation, guarantee structures, leasing, etc.) across all industry sectors
- Responsible and accountable for accurate and timely completion of all annual reviews in portfolio, often with participation from Associates or Senior Associates
