Financial Analyst at AltaGas

Alta Gas is seeking an adaptable Financial Analyst to support Corporate Accounting and play a crucial role during an ERP transformation. Engage with various accounting tasks while enhancing your skills.

This position involves key responsibilities such as facilitating month-end closes, preparing reconciliations, and conducting balance sheet analysis. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and respond effectively to various accounting inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate month-end and quarter-end close activities

• Analyze balance sheets and income statements for accuracy

• Collaborate with teams to resolve accounting inquiries

• Help maintain documentation and audit readiness

• Provide flexible support for evolving accounting needs

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance

• Strong attention to detail in financial processes

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

• ERP experience preferred; CPA in progress is a plus
