Investment Counsellor, Private Wealth

The Investment Counsellor role is primarily focused on providing an exceptional client experience to their assigned clients at Fiera Capital and growing the business by attracting new clients. The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, understand each client’s unique needs, and collaborate internally to develop or recommend investment strategies designed to achieve clients’ goals with Fiera’s customized multi‑asset solutions across traditional and alternative asset classes.

This role reports to the Head of Private Wealth Canada and Senior Investment Counsellor.

• Stays on top of latest trends and thought leadership, sought after for insights.

• Effectively communicates Fiera’s service offering and strategies in alignment with client needs, collaborating with internal partners (COI, Investments teams).
• Operates with high integrity and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Adopts a rigorous approach consistent with Fiera Private Wealth practices and pays attention to detail.
• Acts as a leader, promotes company culture, mentors throughout the Private Wealth business, and promotes Fiera’s values and vision.
• Aligns to strategic objectives, rolls up sleeves to participate and lead projects.
• Collaborative team member and leader, actively participates in work of Fiera Private Wealth including marketing brochures and national relationship leads.

• Post‑secondary education.
• Professional designation:
  Chartered Financial Analyst and/or Chartered Investment Manager.
• 10+ years of Investment Counsellor experience; marketplace prominence and performance are critical.
• Licensed with the respective provincial body.

• Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in‑office per week.
• For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory. English proficiency is also required to serve offices and clients worldwide.
