Financial Reporting Manager at AltaLink

Lead financial reporting for Alta Link as a Financial Reporting Manager in Calgary. Drive compliance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP while ensuring accurate financial analyses and reports.

This full-time, permanent role requires a results-oriented leader with at least ten years of financial reporting experience. You will oversee the Financial Reporting group, manage internal and external deadlines, and prepare consolidated financial statements and Management’s Discussion and Analysis. Strong interpersonal skills will help you build relationships with stakeholders and support them through financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the Financial Reporting group

• Prepare compliant external financial reporting

• Organize work and set deadlines for the team

• Execute new IFRS Accounting Standards and U.S. GAAP

• Liaise with auditors on reporting protocols

Requirements:

• Professional accounting designation required

• 10+ years of financial reporting experience

• Knowledge of public reporting requirements

• Prior management experience in finance

• Strong analytical and communication skills
