Position: Controller Role in Growing Company
Become a Controller at Canadian Energy Metals and drive financial reporting and accounting excellence. This is an impactful role requiring hands-on management and in-depth IFRS knowledge.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role demands ownership of the financial reporting cycle and the ability to implement controls that foster organization growth. Your 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience will guide CEM toward public company readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize quarterly and annual financial reports

• Lead the close process with journal entries and reconciliations

• Handle daily financial functions like AP/AR and payroll

• Manage corporate tax filings and compliance requirements

• Establish practical accounting policies for lean operations

Requirements:

• Mandatory CPA designation

• 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong IFRS knowledge and public reporting background

• Advanced skills in Quickbooks and Office
365

• Resource sector accounting experience is an asset
