Senior Financial Analyst - FP

Position: Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A WestJet
Join West Jet's finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A, focusing on impactful financial modeling and analysis. This in-person role involves collaboration five days a week.

You will report to the Director of FP&A and will work closely with business partners to develop detailed budgets and forecasts. Your expertise in financial analysis will guide strategic initiatives and presentations to executive stakeholders. This role also involves mentoring junior analysts, enhancing team capabilities and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain robust forecasting models

• Provide insights through financial modeling for initiatives

• Present monthly financial results to executives

• Communicate regularly with partners about budget adherence

• Partner with Accounting for operational financial impacts

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 8 years in financial analysis

• Relevant postgraduate degree/designation is a plus

• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset

• Familiarity with financial tools like SQL or Tableau

• Capacity to work under pressure with confidentiality
