Elevate your finance career as a full-time Accounting Analyst with Heritage Park. This pivotal role focuses on financial reporting, compliance, and asset management in a vibrant park setting.
At Heritage Park, the largest living history museum in Canada, the Accounting Analyst plays an essential role in maintaining financial integrity. You will be responsible for capital accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. This position directly supports decision-making by ensuring timely and reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare year-end working papers for audits
• Maintain capital asset records, including reconciliations
• Prepare and file GST and tax returns
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
• Streamline accounting processes for efficiency
Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-4 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• CPA designation is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Strong analytical and communication skills
