Be a key player in energy transformation as a Senior Analyst in Market Data at Capital Power, enjoying a hybrid work environment. This role focuses on the governance of price and market data curves critical to our operations.

We're seeking an experienced analyst to lead the risk group’s end-to-end price curve framework. With your background in model validation and quantitative risk, you will design, calibrate, and maintain essential pricing methodologies. Your collaboration skills will shine as you present findings to the Risk Oversight Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the point of contact for market data curve requests

• Build and document forward price curve models

• Oversee the approval process for new curves

• Lead configurations in ZEMA and Allegro

• Conduct validations and prepare governance reports

Requirements:

• 5–7+ years in market data or risk management

• Experience with production environments like ZEMA

• Advanced qualifications or professional designations preferred

• Strong SQL and analytical tool proficiency

• Knowledge of power market data and valuation models
