Fractional CMA Consultant

IS2 Workforce Solutions is seeking a Fractional CMA Consultants to provide strategic financial leadership and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients on a flexible, part-time basis.

This role is ideal for an accomplished finance professional who thrives in a consultative environment and enjoys partnering with business owners and executive teams to solve complex financial challenges. As a Fractional CMA Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing strategic financial expertise without the need for a full-time executive hire.

Job Types:
Casual / Part-time

Pay Rate: Starting from $85/hr; final pay based on experience

Schedule: Flexible based on client requirements

Work Location: Hybrid

What You Will Do:

1. Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators

2. Develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and profitability

3. Provide budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management guidance

4. Design and improve financial reporting and management dashboards

5. Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies

6. Support pricing strategies, margin improvement initiatives, and profitability analysis

7. Advise on business planning, capital investments, and financial decision-making

8. Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes

9. Assist with mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and business valuations as required

10. Collaborate with owners, executives, and leadership teams to align financial goals with business objectives

11. Mentor internal finance and accounting teams when needed

What You Will Bring:

1. CMA designation (or equivalent professional accounting designation such as CPA with strong management accounting experience)

2. Minimum 10 years of progressive finance, accounting, and business advisory experience

3. Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses across multiple industries

4. Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning expertise

5. Proven ability to translate financial information into actionable business recommendations

6. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

7. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Controller, Finance Director, or senior financial consultant
• Knowledge of ERP systems and business intelligence platforms
• Experience with process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives
• Consulting or fractional leadership experience
• Strong project management capabilities
